AKO Army Online Account – AKO Army Login – Ako Login – As of Oct. 4, 2017 AKO will be utilizing the EAMS-A authentication system instead of the previously-utilized AKO system.

So if you want to login then you will have the option to use your AKO username and password or your CAC to login to AKO. If you have any issues, please reach out to the AESD by phone at 1-866-335-2769 and submit a ticket for the AKO login queue.

Note that at the beginning 30 October 2018, all personnel issued CACs will automatically be provisioned in the EAMS-A enterprise directory. But if you are new to the Army, please allow the auto-provisioning process to create your account.

Registration for AKO Army Online Account

If you want to make your account with AKO Mil Account portal then you just have to follow some steps and you will make yourself registered.

a. Visit the AKO Mil Account registration portal at www.ako1.us.army.mil/suite/pages/reg/startRegistration.ext?
b. You will see a button named “Register” under the login section. Press that button.
c. Enter your Security Number or Foreign Identification Number.
d. Click on the ‘next button and add further information.
e. In this way, you will get access to your new AKO account

1. Ako request your Social Security Number (SSN) and Date of Birth (DoB) during the registration process only to authenticate who you are. The information you provide is compared with your information in the AKO Enterprise Directory Database (EDD), and the information is used solely to verify that you are authorized to have an AKO account. This data is already in the EDD and the Secretary of the Army is authorized to use the data for verification purposes. Your SSN will be stored with your account when it is created, but it is not shared with any other agency or organization it is not part of your user name, and it is used only as a discriminator during multiple identity instances

2. A Foreign Identification Number is used to verify a Foreign Officer or Local National. You may still apply for an AKO account without one, however, your AKO account will not be verified. An unverified account will need to be approved by your sponsor more frequently than a verified account.

Once you create your account you will be able to immediately start taking advantage of AKO Army Online Login account and manage different tasks.

c. Now you have to enter your User ID and password in the blank field.
d. In the end, press the “Login” button and in this way, you will get login with Ako account.
